Overview
Queens Solver models the constraints behind LinkedIn's Queens puzzle and searches every valid placement. The solver records solutions in a board representation that can be printed or checked in tests.
The challenge
A brute-force search grows quickly unless invalid branches are rejected as soon as possible. Column and color-region usage are tracked directly, while adjacent diagonals are checked before each recursive step.
